How to Use Tech Support

This section is a little different from your normal FAQ that you normally see on most websites. We've included screen shots and videos to help you walk step by step through most issues, but if you need our help our technical support hours are 8:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. (central time) Monday-Friday. We will try to answer questions as quickly as we can and may be able to respond outside of normal support hours.

Special Notice for Insight CA Users: The free security suite that Insightbb bundles with their Internet service contains some issues that are impossible for us or other websites to work around. As a a result, you'll need to go into your settings to disable the firewall that's provided as part of the CA security suite when you want to view our course videos. You can use any other firewall including the one built into windows or any router you use or you could enable the firewall again in CA after you finish working in our system, but there is not a way to watch our videos while using the Insight CA suite firewall. If you have registered for a class and don't want to change your settings, please contact us for a full refund.

Computer Requirements: Any modern computer that supports flash, has at least 512MB of RAM and is connected via high speed Internet access should be able to play our courses, but we do recommend the free Firefox web browser over using Internet Explorer. (Particularly for those using a combination Explorer/AOL setup) While most any web browser should work, Firefox has a special flash plug-in for watching our videos that tends to result in fewer issues for students even when there's a temporary glitch in Internet connection. If you encounter a problem, the first suggestion we'll give you is to give Firefox a try so you might want to download it now and just use it from the beginning. The other benefit is the current version of Firefox loads web pages about 2x-3x times faster than Internet Explorer. Remember that we are steaming flash content continuously and trying to keep track of where you are in the course, so a stable Internet connection is a must. Special Note: Iphones and the new Ipad do not yet support flash and therefore can not be used to access our content.
